Ken Blackman came up with this idea right after the GPA was founded. He wanted to recognize people with true Grumman Passion since the AYA kicked out the fire when they booted Roscoe in 2013. Guy Warner even stole the ‘Fire‘ idea when he wrote to tell folks to hold it high and carry it proudly.
Fire Award Winners may nominate someone they feel has the fire burning brightly. Fire Award Patches are available in the Store.
